Dark Doo Wop (Alternative/2012)

Hey folks,

Gosh, what a terrible, emotional week it’s been. In just 4 days I’ve been dealt a triple whammy related to housing, a relative’s health back home, and the emotionally draining job search. My best friends are helping me deal with the next steps.

Obviously, I am conscientious about demarcating my personal and professional lives, and I do not wish to muddy the waters by unloading on any of you, my readers. I’ve never been a “woe is me” kinda guy, but it’s just that life is starting to pile on in 2022… and it’s emotionally fatiguing.

So please bear with me over the next couple of weeks as I try to find a new place to live and put these fires out. Posts may be a bit short, but we’ll see ourselves through December and wrap up 2022 on an amazing note, I promise. Here’s today’s track. I think it fits the bill perfectly.
