I loved this! Thanks to both of you. I use Fog Chaser music in playlists I make for clients and newsletter and people often comment that they standout among the others. :)

Noice! Glad you liked the collab! Keep your eyes peeled for Friday's email. It'll be a bit different, but I swear you'll find the instrumental track I recommend to be a keeper.

Perfect guest for a time when the fog is heavy in the PNW, mixing with the smoke.

Matt was super busy, so yeah, totally—I appreciate him doing a guest post for me.

It’s like a movie star making a cameo in your college video thesis project 😂

Lots to listen to, and as you say perhaps music for the musician, who will pick up different things each time they listen to it. It sounds like you are one of those musicians who can also listen without the critical ear that looks for mastery, bum notes, although in this case it is pretty pentatonic, so not so easy to put in a bum note. Listening to this makes me want to buy a finger drum.

True! On the whole, I don't let bum notes or imperfect recordings/performances bother me. Lord knows I make plenty of my own mistakes 😂.

It's easy in the studio environment to make things sound *perfect*; but the humanity of live recordings and performances can make songs feel much more alive and rough around the edges, and not totally snapped to a grid, if that makes sense.
