The Devil Wears Prada remains one of my favorite movies of all time. It examines how our values change and highlights the sacrifices we think we’re making, all while making ourselves miserable in the name of success.
If you haven’t watched this mid-2000s classic, you should. Today’s track is from the official soundtrack. It’s a thick slice of dream pop backed by gorgeous vocals from Orenda Fink and Maria Taylor, a soft piano accompaniment, and a minimal guitar presence.
Best listened to on your evening commute or when you are looking out your window with a cup of coffee in your hand.1
