Must be tough in places like Scandinavia. On one of my winter trips to Holland, I was at a conference in a hotel under Schiphol airport. For 3 days, I caught a train in the dark from my uncle's home in the dark, and got back at night in the dark. I didn't see sunlight for 3 days. I hate to think what it does to people who live like that. On the other hand in summer, daylight is fading at 11pm. Then like your example NIkhil, people go from eating early in winter to eating at 8 or 9 pm.
This track, a lullaby to be played on an endless loop all day.

Hang in there buddy! Only 40 days ‘til the Winter Solstice.
You've described the Canadian winter experience perfectly!
